**Position Summary**

The Weekend Residence Worker, Senior (WRWS) is responsible for the safe and effective provision of youth programming and service delivery in the Full Time Attendance Program (FTAP), including providing orientation, training, work direction and guidance to frontline youth workers (ISMYW&PYC). Foundational to this role is youth relationship-building and behavior management, supporting participants through a trauma informed lens, placing priority on participant safety, empowerment and skill development. This position demonstrates the active pursuit of intentional practice with a relentless focus on outcomes and results. The Weekend Residence Worker, Senior leads by example adopting the Agency’s Core Values and Code of Ethics to guide decision-making and professional behaviour.

**Desired Qualifications**
- 2 years’ experience working in staff resources
- 1 years’ experience supervising and supporting a staff team
- Current First Aid/CPR C certification
- Knowledge of mental health and substance use
- 2 years’ experience developing and implementing Care Plans/Service Delivery Plans
- Demonstrated preventative approach to behavioral management
- 2 years’ experience with trauma-informed practice
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Additional Consideration Will Be Given To Those Who Have: _
- Effective verbal, written and presentation/group facilitation skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge of and experience working in a licensed/accredited program environment
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Mental Health First Aid certification,
- Food safe Certification
- ASIST Training
- Motivational Interviewing knowledge
- Class 4 driver’s license; clean driver’s abstract
