Job Title: Custodian

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning**:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces as required.
- **Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor plumbing issues.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and machinery.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist in basic carpentry, painting, and other maintenance projects.
- **Groundskeeping**:

- Maintain outdoor areas, including sweeping walkways, removing debris, and ensuring a neat and orderly appearance.
- Monitor and report any landscaping needs, such as trimming bushes or mowing the lawn.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
- Adhere to proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily tasks and ongoing maintenance needs.
- Report any issues that may impact the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Basic understanding of maintenance tasks, including minor repairs.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform tasks that require physical strength.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
