As a proud Yamaha-authorized dealer, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated **Yamaha Marine Technician** to join our team and help keep our customers on the water.
**Position: Yamaha Marine Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Diagnose, service, and repair Yamaha outboard engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke) and perform routine maintenance, pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), and rigging of new boats.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
- Utilize Yamaha diagnostic software and service tools to identify and resolve faults.
- Maintain accurate work orders, parts usage, and service records.
- Ensure all work meets Yamaha and Galleon Marine quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair details clearly.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
**Qualification and Skills**
- Yamaha Marine Technician Certification (or willingness to complete Yamaha factory training).
- Minimum 3 years of marine mechanic experience preferred (Yamaha experience an asset).
- Strong understanding of outboard systems, rigging, and marine electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Schedule**:
- Full-time: Tuesday to Saturday (preferred or Monday to Friday acceptable)
- 8-hour shift
