We publish newsletters and articles on various topics — broadly focused on business, tech, and venture capital news. We host events, and we are building a community. We are a small, fully remote team of passionate builders, entrepreneurs, and news enthusiasts.

We are looking for writers who are passionate about educating our audience. In this position, you will read/research news from a range of general and industry publications, pick news stories that pique your interest and would prove to be interesting for our audience, conduct a deep dive into the relevant data, summarize the information, and publish.

You will also need to be ready to engage with readers in our community. If you are offered a full-time position, you might also lead projects, manage team members, and own the results.

**We are currently hiring for two tiers**:

- **Freelance writer** (part-time, 50 CAD/hour): research, write news articles, and engage with the community
- ** Full-time writer** (80k CAD per year): write/manage multiple newsletters, engage with the community, and manage researchers.

**What we're looking for**:

- 5-10 years of writing/journalism experience
- Ability to quickly find & understand information online
- Ability to efficiently source and summarize critical information
- Ability to think critically and write simply
