Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Production Planner to join our Production Support Team. **Your daily life**: As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling production in order to deliver a quality product to customers on time. You will ensure a high rate of on-time delivery. Acting as a bridge between the planning and sales teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that production capacity meets customer deadlines. The Produciton Planner will be responsible for issuing production orders, monitoring and advancing production orders, and ensuring the availability of product components. The position requires a solid understanding of the high-mix, and sometimes low-volume, manufacturing environment for high-value, high-complexity custom products. **In this role, you will**: - Coordinate the production of various orders with other planners to ensure that they are delivered on time; - Coordinate the planning of customer orders and production requirements according to customer forecasts/contracts, and update the order delivery schedule; - Collaborate with the planning team to optimize production of components for the various product lines in order to ship complete orders; - Keep customer order delivery dates up to date and communicate them to key stakeholders; - Responsible for confirming customer orders with the planning team and the sales team; - Be the single point of contact for inquiries, customer questions related to deliveries, schedules, production status, etc; - Analyze and resolve problems related to orders with the teams involved, such as accounting, sales and shipping; - Follow up on late deliveries and communicate this information back to the internal/external customer; - Creation of shipping orders; - Maintain and communicate delivery deadlines to all key stakeholders; - All other related tasks. **What We’re Looking For**: - You have a college/university diploma in an appropriate discipline in administration, operations or logistics; - You have at least 5 years' experience in a planning position; - You are rigorous and enjoy working as part of a team; - You have knowledge of the SAP system (an asset); - You have an excellent ability to synthesize information; - You have excellent communication skills; - You have the ability to anticipate problems and react to the unexpected; - You can perform your tasks in an environment with tight deadlines; - You can handle pressure and changing priorities; - You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of work orders; - You have excellent knowledge of the Office suite; - You are fluent in English and French. **You Will Be Offered**: - Flexible working hours; - Remote working available; - New workspaces in an illuminated and modern working environment; - Three weeks minimum vacation upon hiring; - Five paid holidays (in addition to statutory holidays) during the close of business for the holiday season; - Five floating holidays per year; - Group insurance and a competitive RRSP program; - An on-site gym with fun "trainings" or yoga at lunchtime; - Catering service at affordable prices with employer contributions; - Reimbursement of contributions to a professional order; - Parking and electrical terminals; - Free coffee; - Entertaining activities organized regularly by the Social Club.
