Role Overview The incumbent of this position is responsible for planning and scheduling production to deliver a quality product within the deadlines announced to customers. By bridging the gap between Planning, Production and Supply Coordination and working closely with production team leaders and buyers, the planner ensures that production capacity and parts availability meet customer order requirements. Responsibilities Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules to balance demand and capacity, taking into account part availability. Communicate with procurement regarding component discrepancies or misalignments, adjusting planning as required. Work closely with team leaders to adjust production plans based on priorities and constraints. Update the production schedule and track timelines. Communicate delays to the Planning Coordinator that could jeopardize on‑time delivery. Analyze gaps and propose solutions to optimize flows and capacity. Participate in daily operations meetings (DMS) to resolve planning issues in real time. Collaborate with engineering and quality during new product introductions or process changes. Perform all other related tasks as needed. Qualifications College/university degree in administration, operations, or logistics. 2–5 years of experience in a planning role (or equivalent). Rigorous and team‑oriented. Experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, interacting directly with production teams. Observational skills and quick decision‑making on the floor. Knowledge of SAP (asset). Ability to execute tasks under short deadlines. Comfortable with pressure and changing priorities. Excellent proficiency with the office suite. Bilingual in English and French (essential).
