**What We're Looking For**

We are seeking a motivated and confident Associate Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in both civil and family law to join our growing team.

**Responsibilities**

  • Independently manage files.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support client cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct discoveries, mediations, motions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Attend court appearances and advocate for clients' rights and interests.

**Skills**

  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure and Family Law Rules.
  • Strong research skills to gather relevant information and support legal arguments.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently.
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).
