Contributes to the overall success of the Change Management Office and Global HR Services by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **Is this role right for you? In this role you will**: - Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Design and implement change management strategies that support large, complex initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Manager. - Lead end-to-end change management activities and processes for small to medium scale initiatives or for specific change management workstreams within a large project globally. - Support planning and execution of change management tactics including awareness, communications, training, readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement etc. - Partner with GHR teams, and other key stakeholders to assist with the development and deployment of change management strategies. - Develop, research, and prepare content for internal audiences using various formats and internal communications channels. - Other ad hoc project work as required from time to time. - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. - Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have**: - 3+ years of related experience, primarily in project and change management, communications. - Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related discipline. - Keen sense of storytelling, paired with superior writing and editing skills. - Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbally, easily switch between creative writing/story-telling and tactical writing. - Strong knowledge of Change Management and industry trends. - Track record of supporting strategic project and change plans that drive measurable business results. - Strong presentation skills, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills are essential. - Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. - Exceptional time management and prioritization skills. - Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships across many diverse stakeholder groups including Senior Executives. - A positive attitude, a desire to learn, a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get work done either independently or as part of a team._ _ - Change Management Certification is an asset. - French is an asset (bilingual). **What's in it for you?** - The opportunity to join a forward-thinking and collaborative team, surrounded by innovative thinkers - A rewarding career path with diverse opportunities for professional development - Internal training to support your growth and enhance your skills - An inclusive working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
