**Responsibilities**

- Direct all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution from setup through breakdown _(which can involve late hours)_, while advancing sales and guest experience objectives;
- Collaborate strategically with event planners, culinary teams, and cross-functional departments to deliver high-quality events;
- Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest service throughout all banquet areas;
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, health, and responsible alcohol service regulations; and,
- Provide hands-on leadership, training, and mentorship to banquet staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.

** Qualifications**

- 2 years of prior supervisory experience in banquet or event food service;
- **Serving It Right certification (required)**;
- **Food Safe Level 1**certification (an asset or willingness to obtain);
- POS experience (Profitek knowledge is an asset); and,
- Strong **communication, organizational,**and **problem-solving** skills.
