**Job Description**:

SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Supervisor, Site Services (Heavy Equipment).

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Site Services, the Supervisor, Site Services, will be responsible for coordinating and supervising heavy equipment operations, as a well as routine maintenance around the mine site, as necessary.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all workplace rules, procedures, and occupational health and safety codes.- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and schedule.- Plan and deliver clear daily crew instructions through well-planned crew line up meetings, setting clear daily targets.- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met daily.- Work closely with crews to ensure they are properly trained for the task and fully understand the job, ensure all required materials are delivered to the job site in an organized manner.- Oversee daily hauling and heavy equipment operations.- Promote and lead a teamwork attitude with crew.- Supervise and train workers to develop a well-diversified crew.- Review daily progress with superintendent.- Supervise the safe use of machinery and equipment.- Ensure good housekeeping daily.- Monitor expenditures to ensure it remains within the budget.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent organizational leadership skills.- Excellent problem-solving abilities.- Strong computer skills.- Excellent knowledge of surface mining operations considered an asset.

Your Education and Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a supervisor capacity.- Proven experience operating heavy equipment.- Ice road construction / maintenance experience an asset.- Experience with plumbing and carpentry would be considered an asset.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
