**Required Qualifications**:
Required Qualifications: A directly related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
At least one year experience providing care to seniors in the community with mental health and addictions diagnosis. At least one year experience with recreation program delivery. Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to meet varying needs. Good organizational and conflict resolution skills required. Excellent time management skills. Ability to be proactive with independent learning needs and up to date with current competencies. Ability to recognize and manage the needs of seniors served. Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Basic Life Support training required. The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time and ability to lift, push, or carry a variety of equipment. Job requires active participation and involvement in a variety of physical activities with seniors.
