Strategic Content Lead

You will mentor and manage other copywriters to grow, elevate, and enhance their skills. You will also be responsible for the content vision and direction of projects from concept to execution. This ranges from content strategy and elevation to developing, editing and proofreading copy across various mediums. You will work cross-functionally with a team of clever, kind, and creative people who aren’t afraid to have fun. (Of course, we work hard, too.)
This is a hybrid role. With a transition to an estimated 2-3 days in office by early-mid 2025.

**You also have**:
- Diverse experience working at an agency or on an in-house creative team
- Seasoned in writing pitches and putting together content strategies
- Seasoned manager with experience mentoring and supervising other writers
- Knowledge of writing for a variety of audiences across B2C and B2B
- Proficient in Word (and Microsoft Office Suite) and Adobe Acrobat
- _Ideal: Experience working with regulatory and legal guidelines_
- _Bonus: Basic knowledge of Canadian French_
**What you’ll do**:
- Develop content strategies that support overall marketing objectives - across various mediums
- Contribute to creative concept development and thematic across OMNI channel campaigns and bring them to life through the written word
- Write original copy for various digital and print mediums that is compelling, creative, and tells a story all while satisfying objectives
- Push project communication objectives by identifying opportunities for content and bringing strategic value to the discussion
- Ensure content quality across the Copy Team and consistency to brand tone and voice that answers client objectives
- Manage, lead, and mentor the Copy Team to help them elevate their craft and strategic acumen
- Work closely with our Creative, Project and Account teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
- Proofread all projects with an intense attention to detail and ensure the team upholds the same
- Support in the coordination and oversee the translation process in collaboration with external partners
- Support in scheduling, resource management, and project planning for the Copy Team
- Lead in developing and refining internal processes and editorial standards that affect the Copy Team; in collaboration with other departments
