We opened our doors in May of 2012 and have been rapidly growing ever since In addition to manufacturing and selling the finest vodka, gin, whisky, rum, liqueurs and ready-to-drink Saskatoon Berry Iced Tea; Lucky Bastard brand includes an Event Room inside our distillery, a retail venue at Saskatoon YXE International Airport and a year-round bar inside Gather Local Market since May 2024._

- We are looking to _**immediately hire two more Bartenders**_for our busy Event Room Our Event Room Team are often the first faces that guests see as they enter the distillery - whether it be: in the retail area providing samples and a smile; on a tour learning about how we make our Lucky Bastard products; or from behind the bar as they reach for a great cocktail_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness: clear tables, operate dishwasher, polish glassware, and keep the Event Room presentable.
- Assist with event setup, takedown, and staging, including moving furniture and giving facility tours.
- Perform general support tasks and other related duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Flexible weekend and evening availability
- Personable, contentious, and displays a passion for great customer service
- Punctual and reliable
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skills
- Must be 19
- Previous bartending or serving experience is considered an asset

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods in a fast-paced and often confined space
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., liquor cases, dishes, glassware, furniture)
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions (e.g., pouring, shaking, prepping)
- Clear communication and ability to hear in noisy environments
- Physical stamina to work long shifts

**Environmental Requirements**
- Fast-paced, high-energy setting with loud noise, dim lighting, and temperature changes
- Wet or slippery floors, use of cleaning chemicals, and tight workspaces
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Certifications considered an asset**:

- Serve It Right
- First Aid/AED
- Food Safety
- Drivers License

**Compensation & Perks**:

- $17.00/hour to start; $17.24/hour after 90 day probation
