- based materials, highway operations and maintenance services.
**As an Asphalt Paver Operator, You Will**:
- Operate asphalt paver while communicating with dump and screed personnel to facilitate a consistent speed and uniform distribution of asphalt material with precise alignment of paving mat
- Operate a variety paving equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance, clean and service the equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Perform all fluid level checks, fueling, greasing, undercarriage cleaning, etc. as required
- Productively operated in a collaborative manner with all crew members
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating various types of asphalt pavers
- Knowledge of all paving equipment and paving process
- Must have a valid minimum class 5 driver's licence with driver’s abstract meeting Miller’s expectations
- Ability to operate in a fast pace and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others; team player who is willing to help out in all areas
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
- Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Travel is required
