**As an Asphalt Roller Operator, You Will**:

- Operate an asphalt roller, finish roller or rubber tire roller on municipal, highway and private contracts and other heavy equipment in road construction operations in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance, clean and service the equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Productively operate in a collaborative manner with all crew members

**What You'll Bring**:

- 1-2 years of experience in the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment
- Must have a valid minimum class 5 driver's licence
- Operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
- Effective team player who is willing to help in all areas
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends if required
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Travel is required
