**Duties Include**
- Taking direction from the First Cook to prepare and maintain the kitchen area, work on the line, and close the kitchen down under supervision
- Full execution of the menus for the restaurant and food truck
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of food to the event buffets
- Proactively preparing and stocking ingredients for the line
- Sweeping and mopping the floors in the kitchen
- Assisting in the removal of garbage etc. throughout the day
- Ensuring that quality is consistently achieved in all dishes
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Culinary skills with proficiency in various cooking techniques
- High attention to detail when cooking and plating all types of food
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Team oriented
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the flexibility and adaptability to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed
- Quick thinking and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Customer service skills

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar culinary role is required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required
- Valid Food Safe certification is an asset
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment Ltd. the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
