To ensure that cleanliness standards are met or exceeded by responding to house calls, delivering linens and maintaining all public areas while maintaining a high level of professionalism while representing the Americana.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure sure all laundry bags go from room areas to the laundry room.
- Maintain the public areas by sweeping, cleaning floors, vacuuming, washing and polishing as required including banisters, floors, walls and other areas.
- Restocking all supplies.
- Answer questions and respond to guest concerns in a timely fashion within his/her knowledge as requested.
- Clean windows in hallways or where requested.
- Clean washrooms and meeting rooms.
- Empty garbage from Room Attendant carts and offices daily.
- Stock all housekeeping areas with supplies.
- Perform such additional duties that may from time to time be required in order to fulfill the obligations of the _Americana Conference Resort & Spa._

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Has exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the housekeeping department, services available, physical plan and layout.
- Physical demands include: pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, walking and standing.
- Positive working attitude and high level of maturity.
- Ability to interact with team members, contractors, and Management in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.

**Personal Qualities**:

- Capable of prioritizing work and handling a variety of tasks.
- Detail-oriented.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift 20-50lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull linen carts.
- Required to have good physical stamina
- Standing and walking over extended periods of time.
