Merovitz Potechin LLP is seeking a Litigation Law Clerk to join our growing team.

**Summary of position**:
This is a hybrid role (minimum three days a week onsite).

Work includes, but is not limited to:

- Drafting documents
- Assembly of motion records, affidavits, other court documents as required
- Arranging for service of documents
- Court filing
- Open and update files and prepare documents in the ACL software
- Complete the Litigation checklist for each file
- Coordinate Bring Forwards (BFs)
- Retainer payment requests
- Ensuring retainer agreement is sent and signed

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must have 3-5 years of litigation, legal assistant or law clerk experience
- Strong familiarity of Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
- Proficiency with ACL Automated Civil Litigation software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact with employees, lawyers, clients and external agencies
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision
- Professional, responsive and positive work attitude
- Ability to maintain filing systems and basic databases
- Meticulous records maintenance skills.
