**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Help maintain a positive work environment by supporting fellow team members.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices is essential.
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and helping create memorable dining experiences for guests.
