**Job Overview**

**1. Key Responsibilities/ Scope of work**
- Provide general Assembly support within the department as required including but not limited to: Suspension components, Hinges and various other assemblies.
- Machine operating: hydraulics press/ brake press/etc.
- Suggest product improvements and identify potential build issues
- Ensure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing, part quality and delivery are understood and met
- Documenting Quality and following assembly procedures
- Consider alternative solutions for given tasks or problems
- Attend meetings as required
- Be responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks
- Ensure the shop environment is kept safe, clean and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniques
- Clearly communicate project and other details to the supervisor/ area lead/ program management team
- Maintain accurate timesheets and ensure they are completed on time
- Follow all documented quality procedures
- Observe all company safety rules, policies and procedures
- Attend all required training courses
- Participate in MAMT’s continuous improvement activities
- Foster good employee relations
- Perform all other duties as determined by the General Manager or his designate
- Must be familiar with MAMT’s Quality System procedures

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Basic shop machinery skills, mechanically inclined
- Successful completion of Lift Truck Safety Course and Crane Operation and Safety Training (training provided)
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly or fabrication roles.
- Computer competent, i.e., Basic AutoCAD
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience of working as a Assembly Tech
- Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but not required at hiring
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.

Pay: $19.47-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
