Professional Painter

**About Us**: Burli Prep & Painting delivers high-quality residential painting and prep services across Burlington and surrounding communities. **Pay Range**: $18-$20/hour to start, based on experience and reliability. Opportunity to grow and earn $27+/hr

**Job Overview**: We’re hiring entry-level painters for interior and exterior residential/commercial projects. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn, work hard, and take ownership of your role. You’ll be trained by experienced crew leaders and expected to meet high standards of punctuality, communication, and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Site protection: drop sheets, masking, and clean setups
- Surface prep: sanding, scraping, filling holes, and caulking
- Painting: cutting, rolling, brushing (interior and/or exterior)
- End-of-day cleanup and organization
- Maintaining a professional appearance (uniform, clean conduct)
- Communication with team and clients (respectful and clear)

**Expectations**:

- Full-time availability (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM start time sharp)
- On-time attendance is mandatory—customers notice even small delays
- Tidy, professional image: wear company shirt, whites, and steel-toed boots (boot socks inside)
- No smoking on site; use discretion and distance if needed
- Willingness to take ownership—treat each job as your own
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Punctual and dependable
- Coachable and eager to learn a skilled trade
- Physically able to lift, climb ladders, and work outdoors
- Good communicator and team player
- Prior experience in trades or labour is a plus, but not required

**Schedule**:

- Full-time preferred (Monday-Friday)
- Some Saturdays may be required depending on job volume (wont be obligated)
- Time off requests require minimum 2 weeks notice

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
