**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Responsibilities**
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use
- Provide information based on ongoing learning and accurate product knowledge
- Maintain and enforce the high standard of security measures implemented to ensure the safety of staff and consumers
- Facilitate the sale of regulated cannabis
- Effectively utilize a compliant POS system
- Perform inventory audits
- Pick orders
- Record and report all discrepancies
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained on a daily basis
- Check identification of consumers who appear to be 25 years of age or under

**Requirements**:

- **Must be available to work 2-3 weekends per month, holidays, evenings, mornings**:

- Pre-employment Criminal Record Check
- Valid Cannsell Cannabis Retail Certification
- Willing to work in 24/7 surveillance environment
- Ability to work with iOs and Android operating systems
- Proficient English written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Basic skills in math and proficiency as a sales associate
- Ability to learn, research and discuss cannabis products and accessories
- Must adhere to uniform, attendance and store policies at all times
- Must have a positive mindset
- Open to diversity and individual differences
- Must be willing to work in a dog friendly environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
