**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:
- As a Patternmaker Grader 1, you will support with the transition of patterns from development to production and contribute to the output of accurately graded production patterns. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple product calendars and categories in a fast-paced environment, and your cross-functional partnership with our Product Creation Development teams and factory partners will ensure our sized products maintain design integrity.
**Meet Your Future Team**:
- The Pattern Grading Team transitions patterns from development to production and produces accurate graded production patterns. Through collaboration and partnership with our internal product development teams and our external factory partners, the team is responsible for ensuring our final sized products maintain integrity of design, function and production accuracy developed on the base size.
**If you were a Patternmaker Grader 1 now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:
- Maintaining patterns during factory sampling and production stages to ensure that methods and documentation are consistent with known factory methods and processes
- Developing finished garment measurement specifications to ensure accurate outcomes, revising and maintaining seasonally
- Ensuring grading formulas on all finished garment measurement specifications and templates are accurate and reproducible in garment form
- Grading production patterns to ensure that all grading of like products and documentation methods are consistent and completed, following development and production schedules
- Ensuring we do not overproduce graded die sizes, whilst maintaining design integrity and production practicality
- Participating in graded size run checks to ensure grading maintains integrity of design, function and production accuracy
- Building and sustaining business relationships with Designers, Product Developers, Pattern Makers, Sample Sewers, Technical Specialists, and factory partners
- Maintaining regular communication with Product Creation and Development teams to ensure consistent methods for patterning, measuring and new technical construction are observed
- Working with Designers and Pattern Makers to establish standard fit and grade by product category and product end use, to ensure product size and fit are consistent

- Providing patterning and grading support to both direct and co-development with our manufacturing partners
- Using 3D tools to assist with patterning, grading and fit review
- Receiving advanced grading and patternmaking training and CLO3D workshops
- Supporting team objectives related to timeline, costs and product solutions that meet business goals
**Are you our next Pattern Maker Grader 1?**:
- You have 1+ years’ experience in a production grading and patternmaking environment
- You have a working knowledge of garment construction
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- You haves strong written and spoken communications skills
- You have an excellent attention to detail, including accurate data entry
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
