Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Plan and execute incoming orders with kitchen staff and management
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation workers
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- **Manage food costs and minimize waste**:

- Handle customer complaints or concerns related to the kitchen
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of order processing and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of food costing
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests and address their needs
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in restaurant management, including, training, and performance management
- Proficient in cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Strong team management skills to motivate and lead kitchen staff
- Familiarity with the food industry and its trends
- Professional Education in the industry or equivalent work experience is **required.**
- Current Food Safe Certificate required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
