Acclaim Health announces the availability of one (1) Full Time Financial Analyst I position for the Finance department, which is equivalent to 37.5 hours/week.
**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS**:
- Models and promotes customer service excellence within the Finance Team. Demonstrates empathy, active listening, and understanding of vendor and staff inquiries and concerns. Provides responses and solutions that balance vendor and Acclaim Health expectations.
- Adheres to Acclaim Health organizational policies and procedures, including the respect for confidentiality of information that the person will be exposed to within the Finance Team.
- Maintains an accurate and confidential filing system.
- Organizes and plans out weekly cheque runs, keeping a 30-day payment window in mind as the default standard for paying invoices.
- For monthly corporate VISA cycle, gathers relevant supporting documentation, reconciles, codes, and enters in AP sub-ledger.
- Reconciles 3rd party billing between AlayaCare and invoices from sub-contractors.
- Assists with reconciliations and monthly JE posting.
- Works with others to finalize all month end deliverables and close the AP sub-ledger in accordance with monthly deadlines.
- Runs appropriate sub-ledger reports each month to ensure sub-ledger is reconciled to GL.
- Maintains accurate and complete petty cash records and reconciliations for the Head Office at 2370 Speers
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Community College Diploma, Business or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years office experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective listening skills and willingness to learn.
- Strong coordination skills with team members, including negotiation of workflow, setting expectations and meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member of a support function.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
- Aptitude and capability of managing shifting priorities and tasks.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and Insurance in accordance with the organizations policy.
