**Saw Operator**

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance** **and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a **Saw Operator** for the **Edmonton** manufacturing team on our **day shift.** This position will report to the **Machine **Shop Foreman**.

**What you will do**:

- Read and interpret work orders
- Safe, efficient and timely operation of saw
- Gather steel from storage areas in facilities using forklift and overhead crane
- Deliver cut materials to designated areas
- Unloading and loading of materials
- Maintenance of equipment

**Your qualifications**:

- A minimum of **1** year of related experience
- High School Diploma
- Overhead crane and rigging training and experience is an asset

**What you bring to the position**:

- Knowledge of proper rigging techniques
- Knowledge of steel types and thicknesses
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent safety record
