**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Manager of Patient Access and Health Information Services (HIS), the Patient Access (PA) Application Specialist is responsible for providing senior-level support for the organization’s Meditech CWS and Registration Modules, as well as third-party systems related to the Patient Access department. These systems include, but are not limited to, Saviance, Navigator for PAA, Patient Portal via Navigator, PocketHealth via Navigator, Postal Codes, and the Drug Profile Viewer.

**Qualifications**
- Baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience in IT field preferred.
- Knowledge of Patient scheduling module (CWS) and Registration is required.
- Knowledge of Meditech patient scheduling and registration modules, mobile registration is an asset.
- Experience in a systematic approach to technical support and troubleshooting.
- Ability to touch-type more than 40 WPM required.
- Efficient in a Windows environment: IE: Hotkeys and shortcuts.
- Proficient in Windows/Microsoft Products: Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Event Viewer, Services, Scheduler, Chrome, Internet Explorer.
- Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information
