ENERGY ADVISER - COMPLIANCE
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join a dynamic **Commercial Sales Team (D2D-B2B).**
In this role, you will connect with potential clients through multiple channels to promote and sell an alternative to Time-of-Use meters. This is an independent contractor/self-employed opportunity where earnings are compliance-based.
Because the energy sector is heavily regulated in Ontario, compensation is structured around compliance and quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
Manage and expand the client base
Follow up on booked appointments and client inquiries
Identify client needs and present tailored solutions
Assist senior sales team with lead management and follow-ups
**Requirements**:
Proven experience in inside/outside sales or related field
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage effectively
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to building long-term relationships
Skilled in negotiation and closing while ensuring client satisfaction
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive mindset, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Identify client needs and support tailored solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client success
Conduct account reviews to assess needs and challenges
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
Compliance-Based Pay Structure
Pay is tied to compliance performance metrics that reflect quality, professionalism, and adherence to regulations.
Compliance Performance Metrics include:
Accuracy of paperwork and disclosures
Zero customer complaints
Completion of all mandatory training and compliance refreshers
Customer satisfaction ratings
Adherence to sales and conduct standards

Pay: $800.00 - $2,000.00 per week (compliance-performance based)
Additional Pay:
Compliance-based bonus pay
Profit sharing (aggregate pool, not per contract)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience: 1 year of sales (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Pay: $64,494.61-$117,864.07 per year
Work Location: On the road
