Overview:
As an Heavy Equipment Operator you will maintain operations of the pit on a day to day basis. Reporting to the Plant Foreman, the Production Equipment Operator will inspect, maintain, operate the loader and work co-operatively with all personnel.
**Our Aggregates operations are in Central Alberta.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment
- Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist
- Monitor material production within specifications
- Ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork
- Seek out and implement Best Practices
- Specific Accountabilities _
- Communicate information with Plant Operator
- Ensure safety goals are achieved
Qualifications:
- Experience with heavy machinery/equipment. Previous experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills and works well in a team environment
