About The Role:
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking to gain professional experience while pursuing a Business, Finance or Administration degree. As the Beauty Buying Intern, you will work closely with the category management team and have the chance to develop transferable skills and experience for your resume at a top Canadian retailer Your responsibilities will include supporting in the planning, execution and flow of goods of a national roll out of beauty products within Giant Tiger stores.

Giant Tiger is seeking a winter/spring 2025 Beauty Buying Intern from the following programs: Business, Finance, Administration. _Please note this role is a 4 month contract position._

What You'll be Doing:
- Support in allocating merchandise to group of pilot stores- Support planning team with ad hoc tasks- Data entry, analysis- Sit in on team meetings- Compile reports as required- Work with various individuals from the Grocery & Beauty team

What You'll Bring:
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Business, Finance or Administrative program- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Desire to conduct clerical and administration based tasks- Ability to exhibit patience when performing repetitive tasks, ensuring consistent quality- Strong analytical skills- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
