We are currently seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team, preferably based in **Toronto or Montreal**.
**Position Overview**:
The Sales Representative will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and drive sales growth in the Canadian and U.S. markets. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Client Development and Sales:
- Develop and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors in the food service industry.
- Identify new business opportunities within the province and other regions.
- Present and promote our food packaging products to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and quality.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as required.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
- Provide feedback from the market to help improve products and services.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and prospects to convert them into loyal customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
2. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Provide insights on customer needs and preferences to inform product strategies.
3. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored for food packaging retailers and distributors.
- Create detailed sales plans and forecasts to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
4.Reporting and Coordination:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for management review.
5. Customer Support and Satisfaction:
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide product training and support to clients as needed.
- Build long-term partnerships by understanding and exceeding client expectations.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food service, packaging, or related industries.
- Proven track record of success in the Canadian and U.S. markets.
**Skills**:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven sales experience, particularly in outside sales and B2B environments
- Proficiency in negotiation and business development
- Familiarity with account management and marketing strategies
- Experience with Salesforce and technical sales
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
