**ABOUT US**
Our services include a 3-Phase residential life-skills recovery program, health care access, addiction support, and parenting resources, addressing complex needs like trauma and homelessness. RESET’s two-stage housing model includes a rapid-exit 30-day safehouse and supported housing — which helps women stabilize and transition to independence.
Based in Calgary and serving women across Canada, RESET partners with community organizations to deliver programs such as the EXIT Life-skills Classroom, wellness and employment support, and long-term community care. Rooted in diversity, trust, and authentic relationships, RESET fosters lifelong connection, belonging, and advocacy, believing every individual has value and the potential to thrive.
**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
This position reports to the Executive Director.
As the Program Manager, you will oversee a team of professionals who deliver programs aligned with our vision, mission, values, and strategic directions. You will plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate all aspects of the EXIT Program, including: the EXIT Classroom, Community Support Outreach, i-EXIT Program (safe house), and Frontline Housing to meet established goals and budget requirements, ensuring we meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with leadership to develop strategies, manage resources, and build relationships with stakeholders to enhance community impact.
This position attends to the well-being of the program staff and ultimately focuses on helping clients move from an exploitative lifestyle to one where they have begun to heal from the consequences of sexual exploitation/sex-trafficking and achieve graduation of recovery and life-skills criteria.
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in relevant discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Addictions/Concurrent Disorders), and 3-5 years progressive, related experience with program management and leadership; or minimum 5 years of progressive, related experience with program management and leadership;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the short and long-term impact of trauma and addiction;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of mental health issues;
- Demonstrated competencies in mediation and conflict resolution;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Stages of Change model and the ability to utilize stage-specific interventions, and in-depth knowledge of the 12-step approach to treating addictions;
- Strong relational and leadership skills (program planning, coaching, group facilitation, listening, motivating, problem solving, etc.);
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, including the ability to facilitate a team approach to decision making;
- Non-violent crisis intervention or de-escalation training
- Trauma-informed care training
- Public speaking experience
- Client Data Management with HMIS is an asset;
- First Aid with CPR and Police Check for Vulnerable Sectors is required; and
- Minimum Class 5 License required with a driver's abstract showing a clean driving record with a minimum of 3 years uninterrupted insurance history.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Assist in driving the vision and strategy of the EXIT program, including: the EXIT Classroom, Community Support Outreach, i-EXIT Program (safe house), and the Frontline Housing.
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, supervision, and support to direct reports to enable them to have autonomy, decision-making responsibilities, and authority in their areas in an effective, efficient manner.
- Direct supervision and responsibility for all staff, policies, and procedures at the i-EXIT Program (safe house) and Front-Line Housing.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Continually evaluate and improve systems/processes, ensuring best practices are utilized and standards of excellence in service delivery are met.
- Adheres to the Program Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Ensure all active Participant files are stored and later archived in a secure manner that ensures their anonymity and adheres to FOIPP regulations.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
