In this role, you’ll work with students in **small-group settings (up to 3 students per class)** using our **ready-to-use SpiderSmart curriculum**, or have the opportunity to **develop and enhance our in-center French program**.

We are looking for teachers who can deliver **French language instruction** to students in **Grade 1 to Grade 8 and above** in an engaging, structured, and supportive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Teach small-group sessions (up to **3 students per class**) following the SpiderSmart curriculum and methodologies
  • Provide individualized feedback and guidance to help students improve their French reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
  • Track student progress and communicate results effectively
  • Create a positive, focused, and encouraging learning atmosphere

**Qualifications (required)**

  • **Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)**, or accepted into an OCT program (starting September or earlier)

- Minimum **Bachelor’s degree**

- At least **one year of teaching or tutoring experience**

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

**Preferred Qualifications (Assets)**

- Experience teaching or tutoring **French (Core, Extended, or Immersion)**

  • Experience working with children in classroom or tutoring settings
  • Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and academic levels
  • Passion for language education and student development
