**Online Chemistry Instructor - Opportunity for Recent Graduates**

**Job Overview**:
We're seeking enthusiastic recent graduates with a strong background in chemistry or related fields to join our team as online instructors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in a dynamic, digital environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Teach online courses in Chemistry to middle and high school students, including Introduction to Middle School Chemistry, High School Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and STEM: Chemistry in Everyday Life

2. Develop and deliver engaging lessons incorporating interactive demonstrations, virtual labs, and group activities

3. Create and grade assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with course objectives and standards

4. Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and growth

5. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- **Speaks English at an idiomatic leve**
- Canadian or US citizenship, currently residing in Canada or USA
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Enthusiasm for inspiring students and making chemistry accessible and exciting

**Preferred Experience**:

- Some teaching or tutoring experience, particularly with middle or high school students
- Familiarity with AP Chemistry curriculum and exam requirements
- Understanding of Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
- Experience with inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
