We are growing and looking to add a **0-8 ton Drill/Equipment Operator** to our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate various drill rigs and or crane, loaders, excavators, hoisting equipment to lift, move, or position large objects at work site;
- Experienced with drilling
- Perform pre-operational inspections, safety checks, test lifts, and load chart calculations;
- Communicate with assigned crews to determine the best placement of the drilling equipment, access and storage of material and spoils
- Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting or cages
- Participate in rigging procedures when/as required;
- Travel to work sites primarily within Southern Ontario
- May perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Must obtain a 0-8 ton hoisting certificate from a recognized training authority
- Experienced operating wheeled loaders or tracked skid steers
- Experienced operating Excavator mounted drill rigs, Bayshore or Lo-Drill would be an asset
- Must possess and maintain valid driver’s licenses and a satisfactory driver abstract
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and safely under mínimal supervision.
