The Division of Neurology at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join the team at the TOH Neuromuscular Centre. The CRC will serve as research lead for clinical trials in neuromuscular disease, with start date June 15, 2025.

**Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to**:

- Participant screening and recruitment for neuromuscular clinical trials
- Organize and coordinate all aspects of clinical trial visits - including nursing and physician assessments, physiotherapy assessments, EKG, biospecimen acquisition and handling, electrophysiology testing, and respiratory measurements.
- Phlebotomy (blood drawing).
- Quantitative data collection including participant questionnaires, functional assessments, and telephone follow-ups.
- Data entry using a variety of database software
- Compliance with monitoring visits
- Maintenance of study budget, finances, and accounting
- Provide support to adults affected by neuromuscular disease
- Report to the principal investigator; work with 2 other CRC/CRAs
- Liaise with other research staff
- Participate in meetings (including travel to investigator meetings) and conference calls as required

**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:

- Postsecondary degree or diploma.
- Three (3) years of clinical research experience (consent, recruitment, data collection).
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP).
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and adherence to protocol requirements.
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, and various database software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently, yet able to take direction from various resources when needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a health science related field or equivalent.
- Effective verbal and written communication in French.

**Compensation Pay Range**:
**Salary**: Min: $34.176/hr - Max: $45.567/hr
