Ottawa Allergy Research Corp seeks RN/RPN for Clinical Research Coordinator

We would like you to join our team

Location: 2505 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, Ontario

The coordinator will conduct clinical trials from beginning to end incorporating Good Clinical Practices and the Standard Operating Procedures of our Facility. He/she will liaise with other coordinator team members, the Principal Investigator, the Director and Manager of Clinical Research, and Sponsor Companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in coordination of Phase I - IV clinical trials
- Obtaining consent
- Completing regulatory documents, Managing regulatory binders
- Conducts screening, eligibility and enrollment procedures as directed
- Creating study specific source documents and CRF's
- Perform venipuncture, ECGs, spirometry, start IVs, give injections, allergy skin testing, urine pregnancy tests, urine dipsticks, vital signs and other requirements of the protocol
- Prepare lab samples for shipment
- Meticulous review of study protocols
- Data collection and entry

Qualifications:
Willing to work in a fast-paced busy setting

Experience in clinical research a definite asset

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other databases

Valid registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

Current CPR certificate

Valid Passport (occasional travel; 2-3x a year, mostly in the US)

Being fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. All new YMPC employees are required to be fully vaccinated as a condition of hire in accordance with YMPC’s Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Proof of vaccination required.
