About the role:
You will be responsible for handling the full-cycle accounting and finance for a portfolio of emerging companies, being their go-to resource. This may include oversight of bookkeeping, accounting reconciliations, financial modelling, sensitivity analyses, tracking KPIs and co-ordinating with lenders, investors, advisors, and banks.

Other examples of activities you will be working on or managing:

- Recording and reconciling transactions to appropriate accounts with supporting documents
- Accounts payable, cheques, transfers and wires
- Invoicing and receivables
- Payroll administration
- Sales tax filings
- Improvements to processes and internal controls as you can see and recommend

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated finance professional that has a strong desire to make an impact. This requires someone that comfortably works in ambiguity, is attentive to detail and confidently prioritizes multiple projects. You are curious and a problem solver. You learn, adapt, pursue opportunities to improve and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

**Requirements**:

- CPA designation
- Public accounting firm experience or similar professional services capacity serving private company clients
- Prior experience at a start-up, and/or high growth company
- Experience with Quickbooks Online or Xero, and their integrated apps (e.g. Dext, Plooto)
- Strong skillset in Microsoft Office and G Suite Applications
- 5+ years work experience

**Salary**: From $98,000.00 per year
