A leading Toronto-based real estate developer is looking for a
Controller
to oversee all financial operations and support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month/year-end close.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with ASPE/IFRS.
  • Prepare financial statements and liaise with auditors and external partners.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Supervise and mentor a small accounting team.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation required.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (real estate or construction experience preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
