**This position is offered as supply staff working at various child care centres throughout the GTA.**

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure operational and curriculum requirements are met in compliance with all Ministry and organizational guidelines.
- To effectively collaborate and communicate with other employees, families, and outside agencies in an effort to properly support the needs of individual children.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player
- Ability to fill in as Lead teacher in the absence of the Supervisor
- Good oral communication skills
- Basic organizational skills, record keeping skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
- Ability to present a positive attitude and work ethic

**Experience**:

- ECA EXPERIENCE in child care
- RECE certified and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Experience in a child care centre setting
- Knowledge in CCEYA, How Does Learning Happen?, ELECT and Think, Feel & Act lessons (preferred)

**Requirements**:

- CPR-C and First Aid
- Vulnerable Screening
- Up to date immunization including TB

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
