Thaysen Landscapes pays employees higher than most landscape construction companies because we want to retain our workers and make sure they feel valued by their wages. We are looking for several people to join our team, building some of the best landscapes at high-end residences in Vancouver and the North Shore (90% on the North Shore).

Thaysen Landscapes works for homeowners, which means that we are working for people that care about their property. In turn, we really care about our work. We don't typically do the fastest thing, we take our time, make it right and make it beautiful. There is an artistic thread running through everything we do, paying attention to proper ratios, natural stone placement, and making sure our joinery is beautiful. That's what we're known for and why our clients recommend us to their friends, enabling us to spend next to nothing on advertising and have little competition on the projects we get. Some of the types of work we do:
Carpentry - Decks, Fences, Pergolas, Roof Structures.

Masonry - Flagstone patios, Water Features, Boulder Placement, Retaining Walls, Stone Facing, Stair Risers.

Hardscape - Pavers, Concrete Block Walls, 4x4 or 6x6 Retaining Walls.

We are a growing company; we treat our clients well and make sure our employees are happy and engaged. We demand a lot from our employees in terms of paying attention to detail and thinking things through to ensure proper construction and an excellent finished product.

We have many great projects coming up. Most of our projects are on the North Shore, but we also work in Vancouver and Burnaby.

Our Focus is on building high-end landscapes using stone, wood and concrete. We put a high emphasis on deep quality and aesthetics. We build for a long-lasting landscape, take care of our employees and treat our clients very well because we are in this for the long haul and want to feel good about what we do. No cutting corners or leaving a project until it's 100% completed with care and attention to detail.

Your starting hourly wage will be determined based on experience, skill level and enthusiasm. Raises are based on increasing length of time, and increase in ability and responsibility. Health benefits kick in after three months.
