The Line position is responsible for all food and beverage items being sent out to the floor. This position includes managing the kitchen stations including dish pit, and food and milkshake assembly as per recipe standards.This job encompasses but is not limited to the following responsibilities. This pivotal role involves taking the lead in preparing and assembling orders such as grilled sandwiches, nachos, milkshakes, and more, while also maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and providing support to the servers when needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Take the lead in preparing and assembling menu items including grilled sandwiches, nachos, milkshakes, and other offerings.
Prep food for the week (Mac & cheese, meats, sauces, etc).
Ensure adherence to recipe standards and presentation guidelines for all food items.
Ensuring you are following food safety standards as required by the BC Government.
Having continuous communication with co-workers in regards to par levels and 86 items
Taking daily fridge and freezer temps and recording them in the appropriate logs.
Having and open and continuous communication with the dishwasher and pulling on them if additional support is needed
Help with dishes during points of downtown
Prepping kitchen items during points of downtime
Restocking kitchen items during the points of downtime or at close, including dating items that are prepped
Following the opening and closing duties list, as well as daily cleaning duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash.
Assist servers with running orders, and bussing tables during peak hours and support with closing tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment 2+ years
- FoodSafe Level 1 - Required
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work day, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
