**About the Role**:
Supported by the Controller, the Accounting Office Clerk works closely with Department Leaders in performing general accounting duties.

**Schedule**: Full-time; Monday - Friday

**Salary**: $37K - 42K annually (based on experience)

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Performing collection and follow-up with clients and receiving payments
- Writing cheques and preparing bank deposits
- Process and modify all pre-authorized payment adjustments for client and bank reference
- Post and reconcile manufacturer billing documents and statements
- Reconcile account and schedules as directed
- Communicate effectively with Department Leaders and Controllers to obtain or correct all required documents
- Daily deposits
- Periodic reception coverage will be required
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years of recent experience in an Accounting role at a dealership
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
- The ability to self-manage one's self in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role
