**Rehabilitation Assistant**

**(Part-Time Position Available - 20-30hrs / week)**

Do you love dogs and cats?? Ready to learn new skills? Tired of the same old same old and are looking for exciting employment opportunity?

**Skills that are a Must**:

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Computer skills (we use E vet practice and Wibbi - training provided)
- The ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting
- Post secondary education

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Provide aquatic therapy (underwater treadmill and pool) independently (training provided)
- Maintain necessary records and accurate patient files and logs
- Assist staff in providing physical therapies (by direction of the DVM/RVT on staff)
- Maintain facility and surrounding grounds
- Treadmill cleaning and light maintenance (training provided)
- Reception duties: respond to calls, send appropriate forms/information to and from clients and/or referring veterinarians
- Ensure working operating protocols and procedures are followed, maintain and operate equipment as required
- Cultivate a climate of outstanding customer service, trust, empathy, and compassion for patients and their owners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
