**Job description**
Full time position Assistant General Manager available at Almac Industrial Systems in Aurora, ON. This position is from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
The Assistant General Manger reports directly to General Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the assigned operationally focused departments within the facility. The AGM is also responsible for reinforcing the team approach with all departments and contractors within the venue.
The role includes helping facilitate optimum efficiency by maximizing revenue, ensuring budget expenses are monitored appropriately, and providing exceptional customer service for internal and external clients. The work is to continuously improve the reputation and high standards of the facility within the industry which lead to positive client experiences.

**Qualifications**:
- Must have the skills to maintain clear communications among the office, subcontractors, and the shop.
- Experience with a business planning process
- Self-motivated and goal oriented
- The ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with individuals at varying technical levels.
- An appreciation for and understanding of the importance of systems and processes to the long team success of the business.
- Ability to inspire people to heightened level of performance.
- Solving problems affecting all areas of the company including schedules, staff, and quality
- Co-ordinate with all departmental management activities so that the company meets or exceeds the revenue and profit targets established in the financial budget.
- Other tasks, as required.
- 3 plus years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
- Advanced level AutoCAD training or equivalent
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
