**Responsibilities**:
An exciting opportunity as a Finance Technician for a market-leading healthcare provider, based on the outskirts of York City Centre. A salary of up to £21,500 is on offer, alongside free health membership, cash plan, 35 days’ holiday and generous pension contributions. Study support can also be offered for the right individual.

The Finance Technician will look to support the Finance Team in the day to day duties of the department in regards to all aspects of service & delivery.

Reporting to the Finance Technicians Supervisor, the responsibilities of the successful Finance Technician will include:

- Ledger management and maintenance
- Processing invoices and payments
- Collate and post purchase invoices
- Obtain appropriate approvals, where required
- Raise sales invoices
- Reconcile monies and carry out credit control, where appropriate
- Assisting the wider Finance Team and being involved with ad hoc projects

To be successful in this Finance Technician opportunity you will ideally:

- Have previous Accounts Payable experience
- Be an AAT studier or AAT qualified (desirable)
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and have excellent time management skills
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and be a team player
- Have confidence using software such as Sage, SAP, Oracle or Quickbooks or, be happy to learn new systems

This role is easily accessible via car, with free parking on-site, as well as via public transport. It is also a short walk away from York Train Station and on a regular bus route.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
