Position: Property Coordinator
**The role of the Property Coordinator is to act as**:
- Resource person for the property management team, other staff, tenants, and the building management team for a variety of areas.
- A point of contact within the property management team to:
- Set objectives, goals, and enforce building management procedures.
- Oversee resident relations and tenant engagement/marketing.
- Visit all sites regularly and report to the property management team. At times, your role may be primarily on site at apartment buildings.
- Always ensure administrative accuracy and organization.
**Your contribution to the team includes**:
- Independently planning, executing, and managing projects
- Supporting the property management and building management teams in various areas, at the head office and at the apartment buildings
- General office, reception and administrative assistance as required
- Marketing suites for rent on Craigslist & our website, including updating the website regularly
- Responsible for content creation for the website blog and TCPM social media
- Tenant engagement activities - planning, coordinating, and executing monthly events, contests, and activities
- Collect and manage the database for insurance certificates for tenants
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports, charts, and lists in a timely fashion
- Assist building management as needed (ordering supplies, preparing marketing materials, etc.)
- Manage tenant requests/complaints including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and timely completion
- Maintain tenant records, supplier and account lists, and other databases
- Data analysis for utilities and other information
**What you need to be successful**:
- Excellent administrative skills, attention to detail is essential to succeed in this role
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability set priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and people skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
- Proficiency in the English language, including grammar, spoken and written
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision and act with a high degree of independent judgement
- Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (eg. Word, Excel, etc.) and other related computer software (eg. Yardi)
- Advanced ability to learn established procedures from the training provided
- Proven ability to work in a changing work environment
- Design and marketing skills are a bonus
- Experience in Property Management is not required, but an asset

**Job Type**: Full-Time
Schedule: General working schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
