Logistics Coordinator - Antec Controls
Antec Controls is experiencing rapid growth, and to support our expanding operations, we are excited to introduce the newly created Logistics Coordinator position. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive professional to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing daily logistics activities, coordinating shipments, optimizing carrier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Support daily logistics operations including quote requests, scheduling inbound/outbound shipments, and assisting with freight claims
- Monitor carrier performance to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Identify carrier opportunities to enhance pricing and service levels.
- Maintain communication with buyers, manufacturing leadership, and production managers to ensure logistics alignment with business needs.
- Assist in developing relationships with carriers and onboarding new logistics partners.
- Generate and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics reports.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
- Diploma or degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field would be an asset
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Understanding of North American import/export trade compliance.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive mindset and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
