**Position Overview**
The Operations Manager is a key business partner and plays a critical role in achieving our client's operational objectives. This position oversees the organizational activities, supervises, hires, and trains employees, manages quality assurance programs, and strategizes process improvements to increase the efficiency of the operations of the business. The Operations Manager is a proven leader with an aptitude for building positive interpersonal relationships, possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written), planning, time management, and organizational aptitude.

**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
Manage overall operations and is responsible for labour management; organize and oversee work crew schedules, including approving all daily work hours.
Lead and implement WSIB and ensure safe and efficient operations. Act as the company’s representative on all regulatory requirements.
Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity.
Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
Maintain client relationships, managing work details, and communicating any project changes/adjustments directly to the client. You are the first point of contact for all client inquiries, including concerns.
Manage the material ordering process for all jobs awarded to Ainger Roofing.
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
Manage company reviews for GBM.
Direct leadership of approximately 50 employees, appraise performance and provide feedback as needed, assist in resolving complaints, hold employees accountable as needed and communicate issues daily.
Hire staff and ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company's standards for business excellence, quality, and safety, while remaining consistent with company values.
Lead employees to improve their capabilities and personal performance.

Develop goal setting for direct reports.

**Physical Requirements & **Typical Activities**:
Sitting and using for extended periods using a computer or mobile device.
Hearing and vision within ranges required for person-to-person conversations, to receive ordinary information or review and prepare documents.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,279.49-$112,028.10 per year
