**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operations Management**
- Lead the day-to-day operations of our drivers and their equipment, ensuring timely and safe product delivery.
- Oversee the maintenance, licensing, and certification of company vehicles, ensuring compliance with CVOR, TSSA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage vehicle breakdowns, repairs, and servicing while minimizing downtime.
- Provide backup delivery support as needed, maintaining a valid DZ license.
- Streamline operational processes, including reviewing Suncor/Petro-Canada manuals and fuel ordering/handling procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues related to missed deliveries and equipment maintenance.
- Investigate site incidents and resolve equipment concerns promptly.

**People Management, Policies, & Practices**
- Implement and adhere to company policies, providing suggestions for improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and support your team to help develop their skills.
- Address HR issues and ensure a positive work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for new hires.
- Conduct performance evaluations and motivate your team to exceed operational goals.
- Assign experienced employees to assist with the training of new team members.
- Lead and manage driver meetings to ensure alignment with operational goals and safety standards.

**Interpersonal Skills & Contacts**
- Foster positive relationships with clients, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth business operations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach when dealing with operational challenges.

**Problem Solving & Judgment**
- Develop efficient schedules and routing plans for drivers, resolving conflicts as they arise.
- Address and resolve personnel issues in a timely and fair manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in fuel operations or a similar field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of fuel delivery and maintenance practices, including regulatory compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid DZ license, with the ability to step in for deliveries when needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle HR and employee issues effectively.
- Experience in recruitment, training, and staff development.
